The Harlone journey

1. June 2026

   The beginning

   We are two partners, Antoine and Valentin, and above all two watch enthusiasts. In June 2026, we founded Harlone with a simple wish: to create a watch in our own image.

2. Summer 2026

   The design

   Then came months of work on the design, the choice of materials and the refinement of every detail. We wanted a robust watch, with character but without ostentation: 316L steel, sapphire crystal, a Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, and a rubber strap for a touch of modernity. We designed it in France; it is assembled in China.

   Why China? First, for economic reasons: making the cases there is far more accessible for a small series like ours. Second, and above all, because of the movement: a young brand can hardly obtain Sellita calibres, which the Swiss manufacturer sells mainly to companies ordering in large volumes, whereas our assembly workshop, which fits them in quantity, has access to them. For us, this was the one thing we would not compromise on: the Swiss movement is the heart of our watch.

3. October 2026

   The first sample

   We receive the first No.1: a chance to judge in person what had until then existed only on paper. A dial that reads at a glance, forty millimetres to suit every wrist.

   

4. Right now

   Pre-order and production

   We chose to make only fifty, numbered from 01 to 50: to favour quality and close attention to every watch over quantity, and not to rush things. The pre-order funds production and lets us start it sooner. We will share every key stage of production on Instagram, @harlone_watch, so you can follow your watch as it comes to life.

   Delivery

   The fifty No.1 watches reach their owners, and we look after each of them personally.
